Position Overview:

As a Navy Cybersecurity Policy Specialist at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will evaluate existing policies related to the cyber workforce within the Navy and Department of Defense (DoD). Your role will involve a thorough examination of these policies to identify gaps and opportunities for enhancement. You will compare current policies against regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and standards to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of Navy and DoD cyber workforce policies.
  • Identify areas for policy improvement and strategic development.
  • Collaborate with clients to create a robust cyber workforce roadmap.
  • Facilitate discussions to address potential challenges and solutions in the evolving IT landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology or Cybersecurity.
  • In-depth knowledge of DoD or Navy cybersecurity policies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills to prepare and present materials to senior leadership.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • High School diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in policy analysis or formal correspondence drafting.
  • Familiarity with Navy operations as a military member, civilian, or contractor.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic problem-solving environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

Clearance Requirements:
Applicants must undergo a security investigation and meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
