Cable and Internet Installation Technician - Independent Contractors

***REQUIRES OWN TRUCK, VAN, OR SUV (Must accommodate a 6ft A-Frame ladder & 28ft extension ladder)

Ideal Candidate Profile

Lightspeed Construction Group is on the lookout for a dependable Cable Installation Technician to join our team. While prior experience is not mandatory, candidates with knowledge of electrical systems or cable technology will be preferred.

About Us
Lightspeed Construction Group partners with Spectrum Cable, supplying Independent Contractors for cable installations for both new and existing customers.

Position Summary

Your Responsibilities at Lightspeed Construction Group

  • Install and maintain Spectrum cable for both new and existing clients
  • Troubleshoot cable network issues
  • Ensure all cables are organized and secured in compliance with safety standards
  • Complete necessary documentation such as timesheets, checklists, and service orders

Qualifications & Skills for Success

  • No prior experience required - training will be provided
  • Availability to work between 8am and 6pm for at least 5 days a week
  • Willingness to work some weekends and holidays
  • Must possess a truck, van, or SUV (vehicle should be in good condition, reliable, and a single color)
  • Clean driving history
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs with full range of motion
  • Maintain a positive attitude

What We Provide at Lightspeed Construction Group

  • Independent contractor 1099 position
  • Hands-on training provided
  • Untaxed earnings (tax responsibilities are yours)
  • Potential earnings of $2000 - $2600+ bi-weekly, based on your work ethic and motivation

Training Requirements
Selected candidates will need to attend training sessions, which include 3-5 days of classroom instruction followed by 2-3 weeks of field training in their designated area. After training, weekly visits will be required for supplies.
