Job Title: Technology Manager

This is a 12-month contract with Comerica Bank. The role requires 2 days of onsite work in the Dallas, TX office and 3 days of remote work. Only local candidates from Texas are eligible. The rate for this position is up to $60/hour (W2) or $65-70/hour (C2C). We are seeking top candidates for this role.

Job Summary

The Technology Manager provides thought leadership to deliver creative and efficient technical solutions. This role leads the development of strategic plans for products and/or initiatives. The Technology Manager is responsible for leading their resources to develop high-level delivery plans based on a set of objectives (scope, delivery, and technical approaches, risk, assumptions, staffing plans, other costs, and ongoing operational plans and costs). The role also oversees client, customer, and vendor relations to ensure that service expectations are met or exceeded. Coaches and mentors employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for products and/or initiatives.
  • Lead the development of high-level delivery plans based on a set of objectives.
  • Oversee client, customer, and vendor relations to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Coach and mentor employees.
  • Manage a team of resources to deliver technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in areas such as infrastructure, application architecture, data architecture, and integrations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or other relevant technology degrees and/or experience or equivalent through a combination of education and/or technology experience or High School diploma or GED and 12 years of progressively responsible experience.
  • 6 years of technology experience and proficiency.
  • 6 years of experience leading large, complex/critical technology projects.
  • 5 years of experience influencing strategy for large organizations.
  • 5 years of experience managing others.
  • 5 years of experience managing a variety of corporate applications both on-premises and cloud technologies is preferred.
  • 5 years of experience with Wealth Management Industry, and the processes and constraints inherent in a regulated industry is recommended.
  • 5 years of experience throughout systems development lifecycle, and various areas of technology architecture (infrastructure, application architecture, data architecture, integrations) is required.
  • 5 years of experience Agile Framework, CI/CD, Devops, SRE principles is a plus.
