As a key member of the People and Culture team at FIS, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's talent agenda and ensuring a seamless integration of new talent. Your expertise in global mergers and acquisitions will be instrumental in informing the overall M&A evaluation team of the potential people-related impacts of the deal.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the HR due diligence and integration process for mergers and acquisitions, including compensation, benefits, HR compliance, labor relations, HR communications, operations, and technology, talent, and culture.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to ensure a smooth transition for all employees.
- Advise on best practices for integration or harmonization of HR policies and compliance.
- Assess and advise on strategies for integration, identify and quantify transaction risks and opportunities, and ensure compliance with local regulations and third-party groups.
- Plan for Day 1 activities and support change management initiatives to maintain high levels of employee engagement and retention.
- Measure the success of M&A activities and adjust strategies to support FIS's vision.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Significant experience in global mergers and acquisitions from an HR perspective.
- Deep knowledge of global benefits/compensation plans and M&A regulations.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
