Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Allen Lund Company, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation logistics services.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and distribute produce EDI loads to various offices
Manage and distribute produce manual tenders to various offices
Provide daily service reports
Manage and update the DSR for problem loads company-wide
Communicate with traffic departments on daily issues
Coordinate bidding on off-contract with value-added service
Maintain and increase ALC's image and reliability with customers
Determine a 'fair' price to charge the customer with management approval and oversight

Requirements:

Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player who excels in a fast-paced environment
Experience in Freight Brokerage/customer service is a plus
Excellent and effective communication skills
Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic
Ability to quickly process information and make decisions
Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills, and ability to handle conflict
Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
