The Operational Excellence division is committed to minimizing the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) for upcoming projects by leveraging operational and strategic initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with senior management across various sectors to pinpoint opportunities for transformative innovations and oversee the execution of high-value initiatives. Your contributions will be crucial in analyzing, designing, and implementing strategies that yield tailored solutions, working in tandem with business leaders to ensure a significant and sustainable impact.
Your primary responsibility will be to lower the LCOE across three main technologies utilized in the United States: Wind, Solar, and Storage. Additionally, you will spearhead digital transformation efforts by identifying suitable technological solutions that bolster the project management office and enhance the overall Operational Excellence program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement initiatives in collaboration with business leaders aimed at reducing LCOE for the designated technology.
- Engage with senior management to assess the potential value of each initiative, which includes gathering and analyzing data, formulating hypotheses, and developing models.
- Partner with senior leaders to create implementation roadmaps for identified initiatives, ensuring maximum value extraction from each project.
- Facilitate the adoption of industry best practices within RWE related to the specified technology.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Operational Excellence to integrate ideas from various technologies and business units.
- Lead the identification and rollout of collaborative tools and digital solutions that enhance the Operations Excellence team's efforts.
- Influence the standardization of approaches for future LCOE optimization efforts; maintain a log of ideas for future projects with anticipated impact assessments.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Science/Engineering or Business Administration is required.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Electric Power/Natural Gas, Chemicals, Metals & Mining, or Agriculture is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale operational transformations across departmental or organizational boundaries.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving capabilities; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Ability to effectively engage with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Strong verbal, visual, and quantitative communication skills, along with analytical and consultative abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a collaborative environment; a proactive individual who is eager to innovate.
- Expertise in designing and facilitating workshops and training sessions for senior business stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel for meetings and workshops across various locations is expected (approximately once a month).
- Fluency in business English is required.
