Head Teller

First Savings Bank of Hegewisch seeks a highly skilled and experienced Head Teller to lead our Teller team. As a key member of our banking operations, you will be responsible for implementing policies, procedures, and systems to ensure smooth cashiering operations, exceptional customer service, and security procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and direct the work of Teller staff, ensuring optimal window coverage and training.
• Answer complex Teller questions, handle transactions, and oversee balancing.
• Ensure customers are promptly and professionally served, handling difficult situations when needed.
• Act as a Teller when necessary, actively cross-selling Bank services and keeping branch management informed of area activities.

Organizational Expectations:

Follow established policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.

Identify areas for improvement and suggest ways to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Stay up-to-date with industry changes, processes, and standards within the banking sector.

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, 12 months of retail banking supervisory experience, and a strong understanding of banking operations and customer service principles.
