The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Director of Admissions. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for executing a recruitment plan to meet targeted enrollment goals. This will involve national travel, creating relationships with high school guidance, consultants, and college counselors, and maintaining continuous contact with prospective students throughout the admissions process.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage the assigned regional territory by adhering to the Admissions Standard Operating Procedures, including prospect, applicant, admit, and matriculate management.
  2. Review and approve applications for admission to the University and recommend admissions decisions to the Director.
  3. Plan, manage, and participate in off-campus recruitment events, including college fairs and high school meetings.
  4. Manage all aspects of recruitment travel in the assigned territory, evaluating opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and strategic plan growth.
  5. Meet with prospective students and families to provide counseling on academic offerings, career outcomes, and financial aid.
  6. Create and implement a territory-specific recruitment plan to meet targeted enrollment goals.
  7. Remain current on University degree programs, national admissions standards and policies, financial aid, and campus and facilities information.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in admissions or a related field, with a proven track record of meeting recruitment goals. Self-motivation, self-assurance, and the ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships are essential. The candidate must also be willing to travel extensively (8-10 weeks per academic year) and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
