We're seeking a high-energy, enterprise sales professional to join our team at BetterUp. As a Senior Account Executive, you'll engage with decision-makers and executives within state and local governments to generate new business revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly business metrics to drive new logos and expansion business in assigned accounts.
  • Work with internal cross-functional teams to create qualitative and quantitative value propositions for our government solution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government executives to advise on best practice solutions and strategically manage sales opportunities.
  • Forecast performance versus quota and analyze personal results through the sales funnel to optimize results in assigned accounts.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of government enterprise sales experience, with 5+ years of quota-carrying, large enterprise software sales experience within state and local government.
  • Proven track record of identifying government programs selling direct and through government integrators to deliver BetterUp solution outcomes.
  • Top 10-20% of the company in terms of quota over-achievement.
  • Sales methodology training in MEDDIC/MEDDPIC (preferred) and Challenger selling.
  • Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, empathy, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Technically savvy, with familiarity with sales automation tools and Salesforce.
