Senior Account Executive

Alera Group is seeking a seasoned Senior Account Executive to join our Property & Casualty team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading client service experiences, supporting account growth, and providing risk management advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement client risk management strategies
  • Travel and participate in client meetings to build strong relationships
  • Analyze quotes and coverage comparisons to ensure client needs are met
  • Negotiate with carriers on behalf of clients to secure optimal outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments through ongoing education and training
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in P&C Insurance as an Underwriter, Account Manager, Sales, or Marketing role
  • NY State Property & Casualty license and Insurance Designation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present complex insurance concepts to non-industry personnel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
