Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit RN

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit team at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, Texas. As a Pediatric CVICU RN, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the healthcare team.
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective patient care.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- 1-2 years of Pediatric CVICU RN experience.
- CVICU RN experience.
- BSN degree.
