Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit RN

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit RN to join our team at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit RN, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:- Implement and monitor patient care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Coordinate patient care with members of the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated care.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs.
- BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
- 1-2 years of Pediatric CVICU RN experience.
- CVICU RN experience.
- BSN degree.
