Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit RN

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit team at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, Texas. As a RN in this role, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Assist with patient education and support the family in understanding the patient's condition and treatment plan.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of experience in Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU or a related field.
