Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Cynet Health. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients with congenital heart disease and other complex medical conditions.
Job Duration: 13 weeksThis is a 13-week contract position with a guaranteed shift of 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AMAs a Registered Nurse in the CVICU, you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients with congenital heart disease and other complex medical conditions.
- Care for patients ranging from neonatal to young adult, and occasionally adults with congenital heart defects.
- Maintaining a nurse to patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 for ICU patients and 1:3 for step-down or non-ICU patients.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Performing assessments, developing care plans, and documenting patient progress thoroughly.
- Demonstrating proficiency in critical care skills and emergency response.
- Prioritizing patient care in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU.
- Experience with congenital heart disease, surgical CHD, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplants, and VAD/Berlin.
