Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and caring Home Care Assistant to join our team. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.


Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with all activities of daily living (dressing, shopping, visiting, medication, etc.)
  • Meet all required visits to the clients home according to policy and state regulations
  • Provide a positive, supportive environment in which the client(S) receive their care through your interactions with them
  • Report any changes in the clients condition to the office
  • Remain engaged with clients throughout the entire visit process including feedback on services provided and completing notes
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing etc.
  • Providing support with transfers and mobility as needed
  • Assisting with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), such as light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and transportation
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
  • Upholding client confidentiality with the utmost professionalism
  • Delivering exemplary care that aligns with our high standards

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in home & community care, patient care, and senior care
  • Proficiency in HIPAA regulations and caregiving practices
  • Experience in providing home care services
  • Premium skills in assisted living and Alzheimer's care
  • Physical Ability to work with individuals (bending, moving, fast-paced environment)
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and hospice care
  • Relevant skills in cleaning, cooking, and medical documentation
