Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development initiatives across high-profile accounts within the IPG360 portfolio.
- Oversee daily business development activities, including scheduling in-person and virtual meetings, strategic outreach, and proposal development.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from initial outreach to contract finalization for naming rights and significant sponsorships.
- Facilitate communication with key accounts, ensuring effective account management and strategic action plans.
- Supervise project management across various teams (account management, creative, valuation, consulting) to drive new business and sales efforts.
- Maintain and manage business development pipelines using Salesforce CRM.
- Organize and lead weekly client meetings, tracking deliverables and prioritizing key accounts.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Studio to identify and develop potential prospects.
- Provide ongoing reports to leadership regarding assigned accounts, including projections and business opportunities.
- Engage in additional activities as directed to support business objectives.
- This role may require travel.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Over 10 years of experience in solution-driven business development and partnership sales, ideally within sports or entertainment sectors.
- A robust network of global and domestic brand and agency contacts.
- Proven expertise in executing strategic and consultative sales initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to source, negotiate, and finalize major long-term partnerships.
- Capacity to innovate and create new partnership opportunities as part of the sales process.
- Able to independently manage the entire prospecting and negotiation process with minimal guidance.
- Strong project and client management skills, with confidence in C-level engagements under tight deadlines.
- A commitment to consistently servicing clients with a high degree of accountability.
- A collaborative mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in software tools (MS Office Suite, Salesforce CRM, and other sales prospecting applications).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation abilities.
