Job Title: Practice Support Specialist

Overview:
Robinson Bradshaw is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for legal administrative specialists to demonstrate their expertise in the evolving domain of e-discovery and practice support. In the role of practice support specialist, you will play a vital part in the practice support division through analytical skills, technical knowledge, and application development, among other tasks. The primary aim of this position is to maintain quality control standards and consistently apply best practices. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain proficiency in all firm technologies and seek opportunities for skill enhancement.
  • Collaborate with the practice support team to develop best practice guidelines, workflows, and forms for departmental use.
  • Initiate new cases in case management software, configure initial views, and input all relevant data.
  • Coordinate with practice support vendors.
  • Manage TextMap databases, organize deposition exhibits, and ensure proper linking in TextMap and CaseMap.
  • Provide training on case management tools and other legal technologies to attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
  • Document all electronically stored information (ESI) received from and sent to clients.
  • Monitor project/case status, deliver status reports, and manage data delivery schedules.
  • Handle client matter data destruction and archiving in accordance with firm policies.
  • Accurately record time spent on client matters and assist with invoice reconciliation.
  • Ensure quality control in all data manipulation and production tasks.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably possess a Bachelor's degree.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Discovery guidelines, preservation, collection, and processing protocol is a plus.
  • Knowledge of various legal technology software systems.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in CaseMap, TextMap, Relativity, HighQ, DocuSign, Kira, Luminance, or iCompli.
  • Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent technical skills and a willingness to learn new software.
  • Capability to solve complex problems systematically and innovate for better performance.
  • Above-average attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interactions across all levels of the organization.
  • A positive outlook and a team-oriented approach to work.
  • Flexibility to work beyond standard hours and occasional travel.
  • Proficiency in computer operation and standard office equipment usage.
  • Ability to travel within North and South Carolina to support attorneys on client-related legal matters.
