About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Manager I to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our food service operations, you will be responsible for planning and executing food production, ensuring high-quality standards, and controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Production Planning: Collaborate with the Account Manager to develop and implement food production plans that meet ARAMARK's procedures and standards.
  • Supervision and Execution: Oversee the execution of food production, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control food costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and implementing effective measures to minimize waste.
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food safety and quality procedures are followed, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Menu Development: Design and develop menus that meet client and account manager requirements, staying up-to-date with the latest culinary trends.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of cooks, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, account managers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
Requirements
  • Education: Technical Secondary School and above, with a major in Cooking or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of managerial experience, with a minimum of 10 years of experience as a chief in a five-star hotel or office building.
  • Vocational Qualifications: Master in Chinese and Western cuisine, with the ability to create new menus and dishes.
  • Computer and Language Skills: Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a certain level of English proficiency.
