The Regulatory Technology team, along with its associated tech group, is tasked with upholding this reputation by ensuring accurate reporting of all the firm's operations to numerous global regulators.

To accomplish this, the team processes all firm activities, whether related to securities or derivatives, across all jurisdictions where the firm operates.

The successful candidate will join a global team with presence in major financial hubs.


YOUR CONTRIBUTION


Are you enthusiastic about technology and creating innovative pathways to engage your audience? We are looking for a skilled and motivated Developer to join a dynamic team focused on developing various applications that support the Regulatory Reporting function.

A successful candidate will demonstrate strong design and analytical skills. The role encompasses all phases of the project lifecycle, including analysis/design, development, testing, and deployment.

This position allows for collaboration with business users, architects, developers, and functional analysts worldwide, both within the team and across other groups.


HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE SUCCESS


Collaborate closely with technology and strategy teams across the organization to build high-quality, secure, and maintainable systems using approved tools and software development methodologies.

You will partner with global technology and business teams to develop and implement solutions that meet the regulatory requirements of the firm.

Manage relationships and workflows with multiple stakeholders while enhancing business understanding in a cross-product role. Analyze key performance metrics, monitor the success of initiatives, optimize approaches, and report to key stakeholders. Enhance your technical skills by working alongside engineers on cutting-edge systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead projects by facilitating discussions, design, development, and testing. Define and enforce compliance with development processes and best practices. Lead by example and effectively guide the team.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE


Technical expertise with 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing real-time distributed processing systems and event-driven architecture.

Experience with big data processing platforms/tools such as Hadoop and Spark is preferred.

Emphasis on software quality - ability to write clean code and promote best practices among peers.

Experience with near real-time transactional systems utilizing NoSQL databases (Kafka, Elastic Search).

Exceptional problem-solving and design capabilities.

Familiarity with BPMN and user workflow-based systems is preferred.

Experience in JavaScript-based web development frameworks like Angular or ReactJS.

Solid understanding of testing frameworks (JUnit/Testing/Fitnesse) and concepts (Test Driven Development, Regression, and Parametric Testing).

Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance and resilience.

RELEVANT SKILLS

Demonstrates strong oral, written, and presentation abilities. Significant interaction with clients to provide technical solutions. Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple projects simultaneously while executing projects independently. Experience with Agile methodology planning is preferred. Proven experience in leading development teams with multiple global stakeholders. Provides guidance to other team members and teams on a project basis.
