We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Transformation Director - Global Supply Chain to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our sustainability strategy and initiatives across the global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and Deploy Sustainability Strategy: Collaborate with regional teams, corporate, and other business units to implement and deploy the global supply chain sustainability strategy and programs.
  • Conduct Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on climate decarbonization, resource efficiency, and environmental topics to provide technical support for corporate sustainable development.
  • Establish External Partnerships: Establish cooperation channels with various external organizations, including governments, industry associations, universities, research institutions, and other parties, to promote the popularization and application of sustainable development concepts and technology.
  • Understand Legislation and Compliance: Understand how legislation and compliance, such as CSRD, impacts the sustainability strategy and what can be done to anticipate risks and opportunities.
Decarbonization - Scope 1 and Scope 2
  • Drive Decarbonization Transformations: Drive global supply chain decarbonization transformations, including zero CO2 sites, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and net zero commitment, through collaboration with regional and corporate teams.
  • Develop Global Guidance: Develop global guidance and handbooks on decarbonization for deployment.
  • Track Decarbonization Projects: Track decarbonization projects in all regions and ensure timely execution with high quality.
  • Define Renewable Energy Sourcing Strategies: Define renewable energy sourcing strategies and lead the deployment.
  • Electrify Facilities and Manufacturing Processes: Electrify facilities and manufacturing processes, and improve energy efficiency in the supply chain.
  • Train Stakeholders: Train stakeholders about global supply chain decarbonization strategies.
  • Collaborate with Regional and Site Teams: Collaborate with regional and site teams as well as corporate functions, such as environment, real estate, and finance.
Digitization
  • Collaborate with Internal Partners: Collaborate with other internal partner stakeholders within Schneider Electric focusing on technology innovation effectively.
  • Test and Validate New Technologies: Collaborate with regional and site teams to test and validate new technologies identified, and assess the feasibility of scaling up.
Green Materials
  • Collaborate with Procurement: Collaborate with procurement and advocate the deployment of green materials and sustainable packaging strategy.
Requirements
  • Strong Leadership: Strong leadership to influence and convince.
  • Supply Chain Sustainability Expertise: Recognized as a supply chain sustainability expert internally and externally.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Strong data analysis skills.
  • Agility and Prioritization: Agility to execute on challenging constraints and to prioritize conflicting needs.
  • Mobilization of Resources: Mobilization of indirect resources in a matrix organization while keeping diverse teams engaged.

Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: 10 years in Graduate / Business or Engineering School or MBA, 5-10 years in industry and/or consulting industry, with concrete transformation experiences, solid project experience, and/or qualifications in sustainable development such as sustainable supply chain or decarbonization.
  • Understanding of Sustainable Supply Chain Trends: Understanding of sustainable supply chain trends, standards & guidelines, and key assessment systems and tools.
  • Experience in Central or Regional Corporate Functions: Experience in other central or regional corporate functions driving informal teams is a plus.
