Dartmouth Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Dermatology team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with routine patient care activities under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, including performing ADL's, obtaining clinical data, and utilizing universal precautions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by keeping hallways clear of excess equipment and emptying linen bags when full.
- Assist visitors and answer telephones.
- Assist new co-workers in learning the work of the department.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate required.
- Must demonstrate keyboarding skills and be familiar with computer use.
- Previous hospital experience preferred.
Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
