Catholic Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Medical Respiratory Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, treating, and educating patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.

In this rewarding position, you will utilize your expertise to ensure the respiratory needs of patients are met with compassion and care. Your collaboration with our multidisciplinary healthcare team will enable us to provide comprehensive care that addresses the unique needs of each patient.

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $68,381 to $95,444 per year, based on industry standards. We strive to offer competitive compensation packages to attract and retain top talent.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of patients' respiratory needs and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop personalized care plans.
  • Educating patients, families, and clinicians on medications, procedures, and proper device usage.
  • Administering and monitoring oxygen and aerosol therapies, inhaled medications, and airway maintenance modalities.
  • Participating in emergency response teams and performing life-saving interventions as needed.
  • Assisting physicians with procedures such as intubation and bronchoscopy.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting respiratory care equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy education program.
  • A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Technician (CRT) certification.
  • A current State of New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
  • An American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • ACLS and NRP certifications are preferred, but not required.
