Role of an Insurance Loss Control Surveyor
As a surveyor, you will engage with policyholders to assess and document the condition of their operations, properties, and premises, providing essential insights to insurance underwriters. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating appointments with property owners.
  • Conducting thorough evaluations and capturing photographic evidence of properties.
  • Communicating effectively through various channels.
  • Identifying potential risks in both commercial and residential settings.
  • Preparing concise reports of your findings and uploading images to our service platform.
  • Adhering to carrier guidelines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Upholding confidentiality and demonstrating integrity in all interactions.
  • Traveling locally to perform inspections.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • Possession of a vehicle, computer, smartphone, and reliable internet connection.
  • Strong observational skills and curiosity.
  • Effective time management and communication abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including document management and internet navigation.
  • Experience in construction, fire safety, hospitality, real estate, or military service is advantageous but not mandatory.
