Clinical Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Manager to join our team at Desert Regional Medical Center. As a Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our Emergency Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Emergency Department team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Monitor and analyze departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Provide education and training to staff on new policies, procedures, and technologies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost containment.
- Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Current California RN License.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with experience in staff development and performance improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Previous management experience in a healthcare setting.
We offer a competitive salary range of $51.18 - $81.91 hourly, depending on experience. Individual wages are determined based on qualifications and experience. Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
