Job Summary:The Clinical Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Observation Unit, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in a timely and efficient manner. This includes managing human resources, investigating and resolving patient and staff complaints, and providing leadership and direction to the team during crisis situations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and direction to the Observation Unit team, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care.
- Manage human resources, including staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Investigate and resolve patient and staff complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Monitor and analyze unit performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Current California RN License.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification.
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated clinical competence and leadership skills.
- Ability to present self in a positive and professional manner.
- Previous management experience in a healthcare setting.
Pay range: $81.91 an hour. Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience.
