Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the Observation Unit team, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, satisfaction, and safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Manage and coordinate the unit's daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and analyze unit performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices in clinical management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Current California RN license.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Previous management experience in a healthcare setting.
