Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Clinical Manager to lead our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). As a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Manager, you will oversee the clinical operations, ensuring our patients' highest quality of care. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff in the PCU, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
- Oversee and coordinate patient care activities, ensuring timely and effective care delivery.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff. Provide mentorship and support to ensure professional growth and development.
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Manage resources effectively, including staffing, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Candidate Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required; a master's degree in nursing (MSN) or a related field is preferred.
- 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role in a PCU or similar setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required. PCCN (Progressive Care Certified Nurse) certification is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
