Position Summary:
The Production Worker is tasked with operating and maintaining production line equipment, monitoring processes, and assisting in the preparation and packaging of products. This role ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and quality standards while maintaining an efficient flow of products through the production process.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 3:00pm - 11:00pm; hours may vary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate packaging line and perform other plant duties as assigned.
2. Utilize pallet jacks for product movement.
3. Adhere to shipping schedules to ensure timely packaging and dispatch.
4. Gather, inspect, and complete necessary shipping and traceability documentation.
5. Follow all policies and procedures related to product packaging, reporting any defective items, filling boxes as per orders, and labeling as required.
6. Complete documentation to comply with company guidelines, including packaging and finished product traceability.
7. Monitor Critical Control Points (CCP), complete necessary paperwork, conduct food safety and quality inspections on finished products, and collect retention samples from customer orders.
8. Maintain cleanliness in all work areas, remove excess product from floors, perform sanitation on production equipment, and conduct swabbing.
9. Report any food safety, quality, and occupational concerns to management immediately.
10. Adhere to all safety, cleanliness, and SQF/FDA policies and procedures.
11. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
0 - 6 Months of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
6 Months - 1 Year of relevant experience.
