Position Summary:
The Production Worker is tasked with operating and maintaining production line equipment, monitoring processes, and assisting in the preparation and packaging of products. This role ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and quality standards while maintaining an efficient flow of products through the production line.
Position Hours:
Monday - Friday: 3:00pm - 11:00pm; hours may vary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate packaging machinery and perform other plant duties as required.
2. Utilize pallet jacks for product movement.
3. Adhere to shipping schedules to ensure timely packaging and dispatch.
4. Gather, inspect, and complete necessary shipping documentation.
5. Follow all policies and procedures related to product packaging, reporting any defective items, filling boxes as per orders, and ensuring proper labeling and stacking of pallets.
6. Complete required documentation to comply with company guidelines, including packaging and finished product traceability.
7. Monitor Critical Control Points (CCP), perform food safety and quality inspections on finished products, and collect retention samples.
8. Maintain cleanliness in all work areas, removing excess product and conducting sanitation of production equipment.
9. Report any food safety, quality, or occupational concerns to management immediately.
10. Adhere to all safety, cleanliness, and regulatory policies.
11. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience with 6 months to 1 year in a similar role.
