Role Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of associates engaged in the assembly of electrical and mechanical products. This position operates during the 2nd shift, ensuring that all manufacturing processes align with established quality, timing, and cost parameters. The role emphasizes assembly efficiency, quality control, troubleshooting, and timely delivery of products to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production operations to guarantee that all manufactured items meet or surpass quality standards, including product integrity and documentation accuracy.
  • Manage personnel-related activities, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Establish manufacturing priorities in accordance with daily and weekly production schedules, ensuring clear communication of assignments to the team.
  • Interpret production specifications and assess the acceptability of ongoing processes while ensuring compliance with company and customer quality standards.
  • Implement and uphold departmental safety initiatives to protect employees in the workspace, promptly reporting any safety issues or incidents to the appropriate management personnel.
  • Assist team members in problem-solving and apply sound judgment in operational decisions.
  • Oversee routine maintenance and setup of production equipment.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
A degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient in Lean methodologies, including 6S, Kanban, and Kaizen.
  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing assembly setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean Certification
