Job Title: Per Diem Pharmacist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Soliant Health in Reading, PA.

Job Summary:

This per diem pharmacist position is ideal for a pharmacist with experience in retail or long-term care settings, looking for opportunities to contribute to patient care and pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Medication Dispensing: Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Patient Counseling: Provide detailed information to customers about their medications, including usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions, enhancing patient understanding and adherence to their treatment plans.
  • Customer Service: Deliver superior customer service by addressing patient inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive interactions with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Pharmacy Operations: Assist in daily pharmacy operations, including managing inventory and ensuring a well-organized and efficient workspace.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
  • Licensing: Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License in good standing.
  • Experience: Experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy setting is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care.
