Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Per Diem Pharmacist to join our team. As a Per Diem Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in our healthcare setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical care to patients, including medication therapy management and patient education.
  • Conduct medication use evaluations and develop strategies to improve medication use and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimize medication regimens.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to pharmacy practice.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pharmacy practice and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or PharmD degree in pharmacy required.
  • Current Pennsylvania licensure or eligibility required.
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
