Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Human Exploration and Space Flight Subject Matter Expert to support projects across NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide subject matter expertise and technical leadership to ensure the success of our programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to support projects across NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to react quickly to changing requirements and schedules.
  • Communicate effectively and present analysis findings to both Aerospace and NASA senior staff.
  • Operate under the direction of government personnel, the Aerospace task lead, or other contractors placed in leadership positions within the team.
  • Effectively work with multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, science, or other STEM discipline.
  • At least 12 years of experience in MSFC programs and experience in a systems engineering and/or program management environment.
  • Experience working in multiple organizations at MSFC.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers.
  • Willing to travel occasionally to work location or customer site domestically/internationally (approx. 10%).
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD degree in applicable STEM discipline.
  • More than 12 years of experience in MSFC programs and experience in a systems engineering and/or program management environment.
  • Proven expertise in leading multiple groups at NASA MSFC.
  • Exposure working with NASA teams at other NASA centers.
