Position Overview

The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for leading the Front Desk team and ensuring smooth operations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of guest service and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily Front Desk operations and staff performance.
  • Promote a positive work environment and uphold employee morale.
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures.
  • Assist in training team members on guest services, brand standards, and operational protocols.
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes in accordance with established standards.
  • Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, policies, and local attractions.
  • Handle incoming calls and messages efficiently, directing them to the appropriate departments.
  • Process guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations accurately.
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, coordinating with other departments as necessary.
  • Perform cashier duties, including processing payments and posting charges to guest accounts.
  • Implement security procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Front Office area.
  • Report any issues or concerns regarding guests or staff to management promptly.

Additional Information

  • This position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
  • All employees are expected to adhere to the hotel's policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in hotel front desk operations is required.
