Job Title: Site Supervisor - Language Services Contract Management

SOSi is seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor to support our federal law enforcement customer in Virginia. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing language services contracts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services, and maintaining strong relationships with our customer and program management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage language services contracts, including monitoring live communication, transcribing audio/video and written communications, and translating written word to and from source language to English.
  • Coordinate staffing requirements with our recruiting teams and manage personnel both on and off-site.
  • Monitor and reconcile labor hours daily, weekly, monthly, and per case, per project, per contract.
  • Assist Program Manager with daily operations, including providing customer project estimates and managing employee performance evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of translation/transcription experience in the required foreign language.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in English and the target language as demonstrated through testing.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute (WPM).
  • Familiarity with Title III specific Intercept Systems is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Spanish speaker preferred.
  • Individuals with experience as a linguist in support of defense, intelligence, or law enforcement agencies.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • All work is performed on-site.
