Geotechnical Engineer Job Opportunity

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Sterling, VA. As a leading geotechnical engineering and environmental services firm, we offer a unique opportunity for professionals to grow and develop their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct construction observation and testing
  • Perform earthwork, foundation, and construction materials observation and testing
  • Lead subsurface investigations, including borings and test pits, and review exploration logs, lab results, and plans
  • Prepare geotechnical reports and design retaining walls, slopes, and pavements
  • Review subsurface conditions and foundation design, and manage projects at a mid to senior level
Requirements:
  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering
  • PE - Professional Engineer License (senior level candidates)
  • EIT - strongly preferred
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • AutoCAD experience preferred
