Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Training Program Coordinator to join our team at Yale New Haven Health.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating training programs, managing databases, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations in a dynamic learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operations Support:
    • Maintain schedules for training meetings and establish communication with educators and delivery network coordinators.
    • Manage master calendars for system-wide training programs and organize training files.
    • Ensure office supply levels and maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Training Coordination:
    • Coordinate New Employee Orientation, schedule system-wide training classes, and publish enrollment information.
    • Prepare training materials, consult with educators, and provide logistical support on training days.
    • Aggregate training evaluation feedback and produce summary reports.
  • System and Database Management/Reporting:
    • Manage and improve the training database and classes in the Learning Management System.
    • Upload content to the IFE website and electronic bulletin boards.
    • Provide look-ahead and report rosters for classes to educators.
  • Contracting:
    • Ensure confidentiality of training contractual materials and process vendor information.
    • Coordinate with vendors for room and equipment usage and catering.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide front desk support to visitors, customers, and staff, and relay information regarding IFE programs and services.
  • Additonal Responsibilities:
    • Handle conflicts related to schedules, venue, materials, faculty, cancellations, participant issues, and emergencies.
Requirements:
  • An associate's degree in a business-related field is preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Three years of experience in coordinating program delivery/event coordination and/or comparable activity.
  • Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and vendor management systems.
  • Training and presentation skills are preferred.

This role requires attention to detail, exceptional client service skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

$62,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
