About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Trainer to join our team at The Phoenix Group Advisors. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the growth and development of our employees.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT training, preferably in a law firm or legal environment. They will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to attorneys, paralegals, and support staff on various IT tools and systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Training Delivery:
  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions on document management systems, e-billing platforms, case management tools, and other firm-specific IT tools.
  • Develop and execute onboarding training programs for new hires, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to perform their job duties effectively.
  • Offer refresher and advanced courses to meet the evolving needs of staff and the firm, staying up-to-date with emerging technology trends.
  1. Content Development:
  • Create and maintain high-quality training materials, including user guides, quick reference sheets, and video tutorials, to cater to different learning styles.
  • Customize training content to address the unique workflows and requirements of legal professionals, ensuring that they can apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios.
  1. Technical Support for Training:
  • Provide technical assistance during training sessions, troubleshooting any issues that may arise and ensuring a smooth learning experience.
  • Collaborate with the IT support team to identify and resolve user challenges related to IT systems, providing solutions that meet the needs of both staff and users.
  1. Feedback and Improvement:
  • Gather participant feedback to continuously enhance training programs, identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven decisions.
  • Stay updated on emerging legal technology trends, recommending new training initiatives and best practices to stay ahead of the curve.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Partner with other departments, including HR and IT, to coordinate training schedules and resources, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Work with software vendors and internal teams to understand system updates and translate them into actionable training plans, ensuring seamless integration.
Requirements
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience as an IT Trainer in a law firm or legal environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of legal software, such as iManage, NetDocuments, Clio, Relativity, or comparable platforms.
  3. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced features relevant to legal use.
  4. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  5. Proficiency in conducting virtual training using platforms like Zoom, Teams, or Webex.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
