Key Responsibilities:
As a Guest Services Representative, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a superior Judgement Free experience.

Daily tasks will include:

  • Welcoming members and guests as they enter and exit the facility, assisting with any inquiries or concerns during check-in.
  • Promoting our Judgement Free Zone by engaging with members on the gym floor, offering support and assistance in their fitness journeys while adhering to club policies.
  • Addressing member concerns and escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Answering phone calls in a friendly manner and assisting callers with their questions.
  • Handling membership-related tasks such as sign-ups, updates to contact/billing information, cancellations, and collecting unpaid balances.
  • Conducting tours for prospective members and assessing their membership needs.
  • Executing retail transactions accurately and striving to meet sales goals.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all exercise equipment and amenities, including communal areas.
  • Ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked, and organized by following a routine cleaning schedule.
  • Conducting regular inspections of club areas to promptly address safety and cleanliness issues.
  • Reporting maintenance and facility concerns, such as broken or missing equipment.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • 6-12 months of experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification (training provided).
  • Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements:
The role of Guest Services Representative involves:

  • Continuous standing and movement throughout the facility during shifts.
  • Regular communication in person or over the phone to exchange information.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals during shifts.
  • Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
  • Ability to bend and twist to perform tasks.
