Your Role:
As a Front Desk Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service to our members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a memorable and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, your daily tasks will include:

  • Welcoming members and guests as they arrive and depart, addressing any inquiries or concerns during check-in.
  • Promoting our non-judgmental environment by engaging with members on the gym floor, offering assistance, and supporting their fitness journeys while adhering to club policies.
  • Addressing member concerns and escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Answering phone calls in a courteous manner and assisting callers with their questions.
  • Handling membership-related tasks such as sign-ups, updates to contact or billing information, cancellations, and collecting outstanding balances.
  • Conducting tours for prospective members and assessing their membership needs.
  • Processing retail transactions accurately and striving to meet sales goals.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of exercise equipment and spa amenities, including communal areas.
  • Ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked, and organized by following a routine cleaning schedule.
  • Regularly inspecting all club areas to promptly address safety and cleanliness issues.
  • Reporting maintenance and facility concerns, such as broken equipment.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • 6-12 months of experience in a customer service setting is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification (training provided).
  • Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements:
The role involves:

  • Standing and moving throughout the club during your shift.
  • Communicating in person or via phone to exchange information.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
  • Regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
  • Engaging in various physical movements, including bending and twisting.
