Key Responsibilities:

About the Role:
As a Guest Services Representative, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a remarkable Judgement Free experience.


Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming members and guests as they enter and exit the facility, assisting with any inquiries during check-in.
  • Promoting our Judgement Free Zone by engaging with members on the gym floor, offering support and assistance in their fitness journeys while adhering to club policies.
  • Addressing member concerns and escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Answering phone calls in a friendly manner and assisting callers with their questions.
  • Managing membership-related tasks such as sign-ups, updates to contact and billing information, cancellations, and handling unpaid balances.
  • Conducting prospective member tours and calls to assess their membership needs.
  • Executing retail transactions accurately and striving to meet sales goals.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of exercise equipment and spa amenities, including communal areas and assigned spaces.
  • Ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked, and organized by following the cleaning schedule.
  • Regularly inspecting all areas of the club to address safety and cleanliness concerns promptly.
  • Reporting maintenance and facility issues, such as broken equipment or fixtures.
Qualifications:

About You:

  • 6-12 months of experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification (training provided).
  • Basic computer skills are required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the facility during shifts.
  • Frequent communication in person and over the phone.
  • Capability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals during shifts.
  • Regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
  • Ability to bend and twist to complete tasks.
