Fitness Center Representative

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. This role requires a passion for fitness and health, as well as a commitment to providing top-notch service.
Key Responsibilities- Greet members, prospective members, and guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Handle front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, and facilitating new member sign-ups.
- Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
- Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for members.
- Customer service background preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- A passion for fitness and health.
- Upbeat and positive attitude.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers.
- Strong listening skills, with the ability to empathize and problem-solve.
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Continual standing and walking during shift.
- Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
