Armanino LLP's Valuation Advisory Services Practice offers expert business valuation, tangible asset, and custom financial modeling services to start-ups, private and public companies, estates, attorneys, as well as venture capital and private equity firms. Our team has a proven track record of delivering exceptional industry expertise and value to clients across various industries and consulting assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver high-quality real estate valuation/appraisal projects that meet the highest standards of service and technical excellence for financial reporting purposes, gift and estate tax, management planning, litigation support, consulting, and/or M&A.
  • Participate in all aspects of valuation projects, from initial proposal preparation to project completion, with minimal support.
  • Prepare comprehensive narrative appraisal reports in support of valuation analyses.
  • Train and mentor consultants, and review their work to ensure quality control.
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to develop informed valuation opinions.
  • Review appraisals completed by other valuation firms.
  • Collaborate with clients in meetings.
  • Be responsive and accessible to client needs.
  • Develop relationships with clients, industry participants, team members, and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and firm policies/procedures.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible valuation experience in a real estate appraisal firm or valuation practice of an accounting or consulting firm.
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, accounting, finance, statistics, mathematics, real estate, or engineering.
  • Proficiency in all three approaches to value (Sales Comparison, Income, and Cost approaches).
  • Certified General licensed appraiser, or significant progress toward achieving said license.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Experience in financial modeling for commercial real property types (office, industrial, retail, and/or multifamily).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; self-starter; cooperative attitude; and team player.
  • Detail-oriented; deadline-driven; adaptive; flexible; problem-solver; and responsive.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

The estimated salary range for this position is $72,450 - $113,400, and may vary based on skills, role, and location.
