Responsibilities:
- Conducting financial analysis for potential acquisitions.
- Creating and modifying Argus models and Excel discounted cash flow and waterfall models.
- Performing financial analysis to support investment decisions including new leases, capital plans, financing, and exit strategies.
- Research necessary market data for prospective investments to determine underwriting assumptions.
- In partnership with the team, reviews and presents quarterly valuations of existing assets.
- Assists in the preparation of internal investment memos for acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and re-financings.
- Market research related to reporting and investment strategy.
- Additional duties as required by the Real Estate team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Real Estate, or related field.
- 0 -3 years of work experience in commercial real estate.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with the ability to effectively adapt communication to multiple audiences.
- Strong proficiency in Argus and Excel with experience in discounted cash flow modeling and waterfall structures.
- Desire to work across real estate disciplines and learn all asset classes.
- Experience working within financial services or investment management industry.
- Intellectual curiosity and demonstrated ability to stay current with technological developments.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Assessment: Candidates will be given materials on a potential investment opportunity including an Excel cash flow. They will be asked to model in Excel deal-level returns and partnership waterfalls. Additionally, they will be asked to write a brief synopsis of the investment opportunity including key assumptions and risks using only the information provided.
