Overview:
The Executive Revenue Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing revenue management strategies and ensuring precise financial forecasting. This position requires a deep understanding of revenue recognition principles and a collaborative approach to financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain centralized revenue models at the account level, ensuring accuracy in revenue tracking.
2. Conduct risk assessments on Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) forecasts to identify potential revenue impacts.
3. Monitor and analyze Minimum Guarantee (MG) and Flat Fee Deal performance.
4. Perform credit evaluations on revenue streams that are deemed at risk.
5. Collaborate regularly with finance and accounting teams to review financial data and propose necessary adjustments in accordance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
6. Execute amortization modeling and contract expiration assessments.
7. Lead the quarterly Revenue-to-Go (RTG) process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
8. Conduct regular revenue variance analyses against prior forecasts, year-over-year, quarter-over-quarter, and planned figures.
Data Integrity:
1. Generate and track reports, providing feedback to forecasting teams to enhance data accuracy.
2. Ensure consistent alignment on product revenue classifications for both historical and future reporting.
3. Collaborate with the revenue forecasting team to guarantee the seamless flow of relevant information for accurate forecasting.
4. Address ad-hoc reporting requests as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in delivering comprehensive financial reports to senior management.
- Strong conceptual and practical knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Ability to take initiative, adapt to changing priorities, and work flexibly.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a disciplined approach to detail and organization.
- Enjoyment of working within a global team setting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Proven experience in cross-functional project collaboration and management.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus.
