Yotta Games is a renowned game development studio with a global presence, committed to crafting engaging and innovative gaming experiences. We are on the lookout for a Senior Narrative Designer to enhance our dynamic and imaginative team.
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Narrative Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a compelling narrative for our AAA game project. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating the narrative framework in alignment with project specifications;
- Incorporating scripts into the game's universe, ensuring coherence and flow;
- Modifying scripts by introducing fictional elements, enhancing gameplay through gamification, and refining dialogues;
- Composing in-game text such as dialogues, mission briefs, and other narrative components;
- Structuring the storyline to enrich gameplay and level design.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in literature, screenwriting, film, game design, or a related discipline;
- Exceptional storytelling and literary skills;
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a narrative designer within the gaming sector;
- Experience contributing to at least one AAA project from inception to completion;
- A deep passion for storytelling and gaming, particularly in narrative-driven AAA and action genres;
- Familiarity with dialogue systems;
- Strong communication and analytical thinking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience collaborating with technical artists on dialogue systems;
- Knowledge of narratives centered around crime themes.
Additional Information
- This is a hybrid position;
- Standard working hours are Monday – Friday, 11am – 8pm Pacific Time (including a one-hour break);
- Compensation will be based on experience.
