Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Narrative Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a compelling narrative for our AAA game project. Your expertise will guide the storyline development, and you will collaborate closely with various teams to transform creative concepts into reality. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about storytelling and the gaming industry.
Key Duties Include:
- Crafting the game's narrative in alignment with project objectives;
- Integrating scripts seamlessly into the game’s environment, making necessary modifications;
- Enhancing scripts by incorporating fictional elements, gamifying content, and refining dialogues;
- Composing in-game text, including dialogues, mission briefs, and other narrative components;
- Designing the storyline to enrich gameplay and level design.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in literature, screenwriting, film, game design, or a related discipline;
- Exceptional storytelling and literary skills;
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a narrative designer within the gaming sector;
- Experience contributing to at least one AAA project from inception to completion;
- A strong passion for storytelling and gaming, particularly in narrative-driven AAA and action titles;
- Familiarity with dialogue systems;
- Outstanding communication and analytical thinking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working collaboratively with technical artists on dialogue systems;
- Knowledge of crime-themed narratives.
Additional Information
- This is a hybrid role;
- Standard working hours are Monday – Friday, 11am – 8pm Pacific Time (including a one-hour break);
- Compensation will be based on experience.
