Position Summary:
The Lead IT Audit Specialist will undertake the following responsibilities:
- Oversee the annual User Access Review for SOX compliance.
- Assist in the creation, development, and execution of Segregation of Duties (SOD) assessments for SOX systems.
- Guide the design of relevant information security audits, encompassing SOC1 (System and Organization Controls), SOX (Sarbanes Oxley), and PCI (Payment Card Industry).
- Comprehend business operations, internal control risk management, and IT general controls (ITGCs) to effectively evaluate applications, operating systems, and databases.
- Collaborate with management to design and assess new controls for recently implemented applications (e.g., ITGC, interfaces, key reports).
- Assist management in documenting their control processes through narratives and review existing narratives for updates and enhancements.
- Provide support to internal and external auditors as required.
- Work with control owners and application teams to identify the root causes of noted deficiencies and formulate suitable remediation strategies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in IT Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, or Consulting (e.g., Big 4 or equivalent).
- Possession of industry-recognized security certifications (e.g., CISA or equivalent).
- Familiarity with IT GRC platforms (e.g., RSA Archer, Auditboard).
