Food Production Supervisor

Join the esteemed Chef Daniel Boulud Restaurants as a Culinary Supervisor.
We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about culinary excellence and eager to enhance their skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee food preparation across all kitchen stations, providing support to culinary staff as necessary.
- Assist the Executive Chef in ensuring seamless and efficient kitchen operations.
- Manage the ordering and quality inspection of all food supplies essential for menu execution.
- Maintain kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety and cleanliness standards.
- Monitor food costs as required.
- Encourage waste reduction among team members.
- Foster a positive work atmosphere and lead by example to enhance employee morale.
Preferred qualifications include prior supervisory experience and a culinary degree. Proficiency in English, French, and/or Spanish is advantageous.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication abilities, a positive demeanor, and the capacity to provide structure within a collaborative team setting. A strong work ethic and commitment to food safety protocols are essential. This is a full-time, salaried position.

- Capability to work independently, complete tasks without direct supervision, and identify optimal solutions to challenges.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting business publications, professional journals, technical guidelines, or regulatory documents.
- Skilled in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation.
- Adept at performing calculations involving discounts, proportions, and percentages.
- Commitment to practicing food safety protocols diligently.
- Able to mentor and inspire team members.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Effective time management abilities.
- Capacity to produce a high volume of accurate and high-quality work within designated timelines.
- Ability to build client relationships and ensure maximum satisfaction.
