Schedule:
Must be available throughout the end of the year

Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, subject to change based on weather and guest attendance; schedule may vary during the spring and summer.

Hours may change on short notice depending on weather conditions and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dismantle workstations.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including waste disposal and general tidiness.
  • Adhere to health department protocols and guidelines.
  • Possess knowledge of food products, including identification and acceptable quality standards.
  • Maintain health department standards consistently and participate in inspections.
  • Rotate and update food storage containers as necessary.
  • May involve food preparation according to established recipes and protocols, including operating food preparation equipment.
  • Ensure appropriate portion sizes to manage food costs effectively.
  • Assist in various production areas as required.
  • Handle cash transactions, including operating the POS system.
  • Lead Cashier duties - process returns, exchanges, and assist guests with inquiries.
  • Provide general customer service.
  • Guide the team towards operational goals and projects.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Follow daily/weekly/monthly cleaning schedules as directed by management.
  • Ensure all work areas are organized, clean, and safe.
  • Deliver consistent quality across the menu and ensure proper preparation and storage of products.
  • Complete any reasonable requests or tasks assigned by management.
  • Collaborate with campus partners.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all staff members.
  • Maintain a general understanding of park attractions and amenities to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Comply with all organizational rules and regulations.

Maintenance Duties

  • Clear debris and empty trash bins from dining and public areas.
  • Ensure general sanitation of restaurant grounds.
  • Conduct deep cleaning of equipment, walls, floors, and ceilings as assigned.
  • Operate lightweight grounds equipment as needed (e.g., pressure washer, leaf blower).
  • Adhere to cleanliness, food handling, and storage procedures as per local, state, and federal regulations.

Ability to work safely in environments with heat and steam.
